Criminal case MH17
Four suspects will be prosecuted for bringing down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 on the 17th of July 2014. The first proceedings took place in March 2020. The hearing will resume on Monday 8 February 2021.
War crimes, genocide, crimes against humanity, torture and enforced disappearances: international crimes and offenses of the most serious sort. The Dutch government believes that such crimes must be investigated and the guilty parties brought to justice.
